With the rain bucketing down in Sydney this week, and a forecast of more rain in the next few days, it is highly likely that the planned games between AAGPS Blue / White and the NSWJRU I & II teams might see their grounds closed by the local council. These games which were originally scheduled for Thursday night at Boronia Park, Hunters Hill.
NSW Juniors and the AAGPS rugby convenors have been in contact and decided to be pro-active to avoid such a possibility (no one wants to get to the 11th hour and then cancel the games completely). As such the games have been moved to a new venue and will need to be played at a slightly earlier time (no lights).
The new venue will be St Josephs College No.1 which is located on Augustine St, Hunters Hill - this actually only about 800m from the original venue of Boronia Park. We'd like to thank the good people at Joeys for hosting these games and supporting the pathway.
Spectators are all welcome - Good luck to all the players, coaches and officials.
