Folks – an update on the U18s Rep program for 2020.

We have listened to all your feedback and have amended the program to make sure we do not affect anyone adversely during this already COVID affected season. This new format will enable all players to get a chance to showcase their talents in front of selectors at some stage,whilst taking into consideration their club/school comps & the HSC.

The GEN BLUE guys have been out watching as much rugby as possible and Cluch TV & Hudl has given them great access to some schools and colts games as well. Plus they already have a huge network of scouts providing feedback across all comps. But there are obviously limits to what they can do this season – so if your coaches in your Zone / District or School have players that you think are not already on the radar & they should be looking at please contact NSWRU.

Hi All, just an update on our current position regarding the Gen Blue U18 program.  Due the various finishing dates Schools, Club U18 Rugby, Shute Shield colts and Country Rugby the following will occur 

‍22 September- GPS 1 and 2 v NSW Barbarians 1 and 2 (players spotted from various comps that are either finished or without a clash and available)

‍November 1st –Open trials for Club & CHS/CCC/AICES players from Sydney and Country

November 8th - Cityv Country U18

November 14th - School leavers v NSW Juniors(selected from the best players of Sydney v Country)

November 21st - It is proposed that NSW U18 play Queensland U18 (however this is not confirmed at the time of writing).

‍Please also note that this program takes into consideration the large number of players involved in HSC exams with a finish date of November 6
